Dalhart Federal Savings keeps all their loans in house. There are a variety of Loan Types for you to choose from. Also we offer UP TO 97% financing (for qualified buyers). Here are some of the Loan Types we offer.
Fixed Rate Loans offer a fixed interest rate and monthly payment for the life of the loan. These loans have terms of fifteen years or less.
Balloon Loans offer a fixed rate and monthly payment, but have a shorter term. Payments can be based on up to a 30-year repayment term, which keeps the payments lower. The balance of the loan is due at the end of the term, usually a 10-year term. The flexibility of shorter term financing through Balloon Loans is a great choice when you foresee lifestyle changes, such as purchasing a larger or smaller home in the future.
Adjustable Rate Loans have an interest rate and payment that change every 1 or 5 years depending on what you choose. Adjustable Rate Loans offer the lowest possible initial rate and monthly payment. The 5-year Adjustable is the rate used for our higher percentage financing. These loans are available up to 30 years.
Bridge Loans allow you to use the equity in your current home to purchase a new home. This loan is a 6 or 12 month note with interest only payments. The loan is paid off when your current home is sold.
Home Equity Loans are available with fixed or adjustable rates and terms up to 30 years. You’ve been paying down your balance and property values have gone up. Tap into that wealth with a Home Equity loan that’s right for you. A Home Equity loan is ideal for making your dreams come true.
